Do You Suffer From These Daily Struggles?
Fatigue and Tiredness
If you find yourself exhausted, as if you've just run a marathon, struggling even on your good days and feeling completely drained on the bad ones, know that this isn’t just 'in your head'. Fatigue is often a symptom of underlying imbalances in the body’s systems, which can stem from issues like hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, or chronic inflammation.
Gut Symptoms/Food Intolerance
If you are worried that each bite of food might trigger uncomfortable symptoms like gas, bloating, or diarrhea, you're not alone. These reactions can turn your life upside down, causing intense stress and discomfort at the most inconvenient times. These symptoms often point to deeper digestive issues, such as imbalances in gut flora, enzyme deficiencies, or inflammatory conditions.
Brainfog
If you find yourself struggling with a clouded mind that slows your thoughts, making conversations difficult and leaving you feeling mentally detached from your surroundings, functional medicine can help. Brain fog can be caused by hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, or chronic stress.
Exercise Intolerance
Do you feel unusually tired or sore during or after exercise, or find that activities you once enjoyed now leave you drained? These symptoms often indicate issues such as poorly functioning mitochondria, toxin buildup, excess oxidative stress, or underlying metabolic dysfunction.
Anxiety
Do you often find yourself overthinking everyday decisions, tasks, and interactions, worried about dangers that logically you know aren't there? This kind of persistent anxiety can color your perception of daily events, preventing you from fully enjoying the present moment. We can help uncover the underlying biochemical imbalances that are exacerbating your anxiety and work with you to turn this around.
Pain and Insomnia
Are you experiencing persistent joint pain, muscle aches, or tender points that hinder your daily life or your sleep? Maybe you find yourself unable get deep restorative sleep like you used to, instead waking up several times per night. These issues sap your energy, health, and can hamper your enjoyment of life. Getting to the root cause of your insomnia is the key to feeling better.
Discover Your Path to Wellness
Thorough Intake Process
Before we meet, I ask you to fill out a very detailed intake form that includes questions about your health history, environmental exposures, and specific concerns. This allows me to get a comprehensive view of your well-being and tailor my approach to your unique needs.
Based on your situation and budget, we'll decide on the necessary functional lab testing. From our visits, you will receive a superbill that you can submit to your insurance.
Comprehensive Testing and Treatment
Once I've assessed your situation, I design a specific testing regimen, supplement program, diet plan, and exercise routine tailored to you. I'll provide you with a detailed email with links and resources, so you have everything you need to understand and follow your personalized plan.
Your health journey doesn't end there. We'll stay in touch through emails, texts, or calls to ensure you're progressing well. Your follow-up appointments will be scheduled around your testing and treatment plan.
Open Line of Communication
You may have noticed in conventional medicine, the relationship between a patient and their doctor is often fleeting. Perhaps you've experienced those hurried appointments, rushed through in a matter of minutes. I understand how that makes people uncomfortable, even unwilling to fully share their concerns and goals.
That's why I'm passionate about creating a partnership with my patients. With me, you will never feel rushed or just another name on a list. I'm committed to a relationship where we openly discuss your health, your concerns, and your well-being.
Experience healthcare that's personal, proactive, and designed just for you.
With me, you'll find a medical ally who truly cares.
Accountability and Coaching
Unlike larger functional medicine practices, I run a one-man show. I personally read your emails, order your labs, and provide you with undivided attention and care.
I also act as a health coach, providing you with accountability – something often missing in healthcare. I use wearables like glucometers, Whoop, Oura, and Apple Health to keep track of your progress and even share my workouts with you. My approach is detailed, personalized, and focused on your optimal health.
Strive for Optimal Health
Whether you're here for weight loss, hormone optimization, reducing the risk of Alzheimer's, or just general well-being, I approach your care holistically. I look for risk factors that others might overlook, utilizing tools and tests that are specific to your concerns, and even offering cutting-edge screening methods for those focused on cancer prevention or cardiovascular health.
